It was one of the busiest local events we’ve ever attended. Despite having tasty snacks and appetizers we barely had time to eat - so many people were visiting our booth, so many interesting conversations happened.
The event sponsor was MITRE, a not-for-profit coporation that runs research and development centers for the federal government. There were 10 innovative new startups with products in the IoT space. There was a wide range of industries represented, from a medical records database technology to robots to transportation logistics.
Ben Tao, PTC' Corporate Development VP and Albert Putnam, Cimetrics discussing big data analytics.
Cimetrics was one of the presenters of the night. We were presenting our:
- BACnet Explorer - all your BACnet devices at your fingertips. Imagine communicating to all the connected chillers, air conditioners or boilers, seeing all your meter data in one place. When you connect to any BACnet network, the BACnet Explorer automatically discovers the BACnet devices and their objects. You can see the data right away. The Explorer will display BACnet devices as they join networks in real time.
- Analytika - a cloud-based analytics platform, providing building and facility owners and managers a tool for monitoring the performance of intricately engineered systems that control buildings of today. Analytika monitors energy efficiency, helps maintain corporate regulatory compliance, and supervises the life cycle of equipment and other assets, all to facilitate the best indoor environment for occupants, and value for the organizations who rely on them.
