The summer solstice can fall anywhere between June 20^th to the 22^ndeach year in the northern hemisphere. The word solstice comes from the Latin words “sol” and “sistere”. Sol means sun and sistere means stop or halt.

ASHRAE Applauds the National Definition of a Zero Emissions Building

The U.S. Department of Energy just released a standardized, verifiable basis for defining a zero emissions building. 🙌 The National Definition of a Zero Emissions Building: Part 1 Operating Emissions references three ASHRAE standards in the document and offers a harmonized approach guiding both public and private entities in transitioning the building sector towards zero greenhouse gas emissions.
