The event is held September 19-20 at the Boston Convention Center, in Boston, MA, USA. We are hoping to see you there! World Climate Ltd. in co-organizing partnership with the Northeast Clean Energy Council, NECEC, and Founding Sponsor The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, MassCEC leadership is proud to host this important event at time when Climate Change is at the center of so many conversations.
The two-day Horizon19 Summit features more than 80 speakers and over 60 sessions and many other dignitaries across the private and public sectors who will discuss business leadership, climate investments, and other topics in the areas of climate change and sustainability. Discussions will focus on innovation and spotlight topics including offshore wind, sustainable cities and sustainable production.

Speaking at Horizon for the first time, Gina Raimondo - the 75th Governor of Rhode Island and the state’s first female governor – will address the summit on the UN Summit, 2020 Climate Plans, and the 2030 Sustainable Agenda. Governor Raimondo is committed to meeting the state's climate change goals keeping in mind impacts on its 400 miles of coastline.
Horizon will also feature Richard Kauffman, Chairman of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) who served as New York State’s first “Energy Czar.” Kaufman has led the New York’s Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) policy. Additionally, the event will welcome global clusters in energy technology trends including ICN, Smart Cities, the Holland Innovation Network, and CleanTech Scandinavia, eager to network with local innovation hub Greentown Labs on its U.S. mission.
Organizations making their sustainability focus a priority and sharing best practices in the industry will attend and include Schneider Electric, GE Renewables, Ikea Ingka Group, ING, T-Mobile, Ameresco, IBM, and MHI Vestas. Prominent academia is also accepted including MIT Energy Initiative, the University of Massachusetts, and Northeastern University.
