At the AHR Expo 2023 in Atlanta this month, Cimetrics launched a number of new networking products. The Cimetrics B3071/3075 B/IP to B/IP Routers is a cost-effective way to bridge IP segments and avoid the need for large numbers of corporate IP addresses. The SbC3100/3200 BACnet/SC Firewall/Routers connect unsecured BACnet MS/TP and BACnet/IP to secure BACnet/SC networks with configurable firewall policies. And the BACnet/SC SbC4000 Management Appliance provides advanced onboarding and diagnostics of BACnet/SC devices through passive and active network monitoring while acting as a Certificate Authority, BACnet/SC Hub, and integrating with IT SIEM tools.
At the event, Cimetrics CEO Jim Lee was a speaker at the inaugural Smarter Summit 23 held by Monday Live! and the Coalition for Smarter Buildings (C4SB) on the Sunday before the Expo. The Summit vocalized a new industry direction of open and interoperable systems up and down the stack; in the spirit of collaboration to be #SmarterTogether. Jim Lee also spoke at Seminar 50 of the ASHRAE Winter meeting on BACnet/SC and the Div2525 Project in the AutomatedBuildings.com track during the AHR Expo.
