Congratulations to our CTO - James Butler - for becoming an ASHRAE Fellow! Fellow ASHRAE is a membership grade that recognizes members who have attained distinction and made substantial contributions in HVAC&R and the built environment such as education, research, engineering design and consultation, publications, presentations and mentoring.
James Butler has been an innovator in embedded networking technology for building automation. He was the founding manager of the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) and is currently the convener of the information technology working group within the BACnet committee (ASHRAE SSPC135) which developed BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC).
