Overview:
Infometrics is Cimetrics’ service offering to building owners to remotely monitor and evaluate the operation of HVAC systems. Our analysts (HVAC, controls and energy engineers) use the Infometrics system to generate detailed recommendations in reports for building owners and their staffs. We are looking for an experienced energy and HVAC engineer to join our Services group as a Senior Analyst.

Duties:

• Manage multiple commercial and institutional accounts
• Analyze HVAC, central plant and control system data for faults, discrepancies, suboptimal operation, energy saving opportunities, etc.
• Analyze client utility data, generate energy baselines, consumption trend analysis and load profiling
• Compile client reports with recommendations and management information (Energy, Code, IAQ, etc.)
• Conduct report review meetings with client personnel
• Work with the Sales and Connectivity groups to evaluate and set up new customers
• Work with the Technology group to develop new tools and improve existing analysis tools
• Less than 5% domestic travel, 95%+ in Boston office

Firm Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Bachelor’s degree in physical science or engineering

Highly Desired:

• Energy engineering experience
• Building controls industry experience
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment operation and sequences of operation
• HVAC commissioning experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and some knowledge of database tools such as SQL
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering

Pluses:

• HVAC design experience
• PE registration or CEM certification
