What does the “Time out” error message in the Router Status window mean?

Answer

If you are looking at the setup screens and notice this message in the “Router Status” window this is an indication that the connected cables are not appropriate (usually the ARCnet cables). This is also an indication that there is something that is amiss. Please check your connections, terminations and grounding of the ARCnet cables.
