Existing customers whose one year free update license has expired can get the NEW v5.0 BAS-o-matic with more than 20 improvements. BACnet defragmentation, statistics available for log files, matrix plotting of conversations, and much more.BAS-o-matic can capture and analyze Internet and Local Area Network (LAN) data traffic in an IT, Building Automation, or Industrial Automation Network. This platform currently supports Ethernet, BACnet/Ethernet, BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus/TCP, Modbus RTU and will be adding even more BAS decoder modules in the future. This tool can be used to verify proper communications between automation devices and to debug system problems. For example, if devices from different manufacturers are not communicating correctly, you can easily capture the command and response sequence between these devices, save this to a file, and then e-mail this file to the device manufacturers support staff for analysis. Other powerful features are: the ability to measure bandwidth usage, powerful filtering options, ability to ignore or capture data based on ports, search facilities, packet generator, and much more.
