Define the analog, binary or multistate objects needed for your product using the Cimetrics Object Database Creator program (Windows). Save this as a file.

   
1. Code your product's microprocessor to transmit this file to the serial port of the Cimetrics EasyBAC interface when power is applied. This configures the interface.
   
2. After power up, your microprocessor communicates status changes by writing simple commands such as "Object 15, Value 35" or "Object 10, Status on".
   
3. There are a few other commands which need to be implemented such as responding with ALL status information, but these commands are very simple. This interface contains an EasyBAC module, power supply circuitry, LED indication, and RS232 level converters.
   
4. ETHERNET DETAILS - BACnet/IP conforming to ISO 16484-5. All Who-IS, I-AM communications is transparent to the host microprocessor.
