The reason is, installing the OPC Server results in an automatic installation of the Cimetrics BACsatc protocol which is necessary for the BACrestCfg.exe.

Once the OPC Server is installed, the BACrestCfg.exe can be used with no problems. Once this is done, we will not need to use the OPC Server at all.

We are working on getting the BACstac to be installed automatically. Once this is done, the process of installing the OPC Server will not be required.
