The B/IP to B/WS Gateway has two Isolated Ethernet ports, one for the B/IP communications and the other for B/WS and this isolation prevents any unintended communication from going through. This isolation gives it a strong security and hence is called as a Firewall between the BACnet network and the IT Network.
