What is the difference between the Eplus series and the Native IP series?

While the functionality of these two series may look very similar, the differences lie in the protocols used on the Ethernet side of the connections.
The Eplus series is designed for Building Automation professionals who need to connect to Ethernet networks. Most of the models support BACnet/IP and BACnet Web Services (the Modbus/TCP router is one exception).
The Native IP series is designed for IT professionals who need to interface with building infrastructure. The main communications protocols used are XML/SOAP Web Services and others that are well known in the IT community.
The Eplus series is designed for Building Automation professionals who need to connect to Ethernet networks. Most of the models support BACnet/IP and BACnet Web Services (the Modbus/TCP router is one exception).
