What Data Link Layers are supported ?

The BACnet data link layers supported are BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP. All baud rates of the MS/TP specifications are available. These are by far the most commonly implemented DL’s within the BACnet community (it is estimated that the other options listed in the BACnet standard are implemented by fewer than 2% of modern products).

All of the LON (ANSI/EIA 709) field bus interfaces can be used, as well as the LON/TCP (ANSI/EIA 852) high speed connections for Internet compatibility.
