Senior Analyst – HVAC & Energy Engineer
Location: Boston, MA 02111

Overview:
Infometrics is Cimetrics’ service offering to building owners to remotely monitor and evaluate the operation of HVAC systems. Our analysts (HVAC, controls and energy engineers) use the Infometrics system to generate detailed recommendations in reports for building owners and their staffs. We are looking for an experienced energy and HVAC analyst to join our Services group as a Senior Analyst.

Duties:

1. Manage multiple commercial and institutional accounts
2. Analyze HVAC, central plant and control system data for faults, discrepancies, suboptimal operation, energy saving opportunities, etc.
3. Analyze client utility data, generate energy baselines, consumption trend analysis and load profiling
4. Compile client reports with recommendations and management information (Energy, Code, IAQ, etc.)
5. Conduct report review meetings with client personnel
6. Work with the Sales and Connectivity groups to evaluate and setup new customers
7. Work with the Technology group to develop new tools and improve existing analysis tools
8. Less than 5% domestic travel, 95%+ in Boston office

Requirements:

1. 5+ years experience in the energy engineering and/or building controls industries
2. Familiarity with HVAC equipment operation and sequences of operation a must
3. Building HVAC commissioning and/or design experience a plus
4. Excellent communication skills, especially good writing skills are required
5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and some knowledge of database tools such as SQL or Access is desired
6. Bachelor degree in physical science or engineering is required.
7. PE or CEM certification a plus
